For more information on our curriculum, please follow the links below. There is information on each year group, from Nursery to Year 6. Each class will start this academic year with a mini theme of World War One to commemorate 100 years.

We currently teach English using Language and Literacy and Read Write Inc Phonics, Abacus Maths, The way the Truth and the Light for Religion and The cornerstone curriculum for all other subjects.

  • Cornerstone Curriculum – Long Term Plan

Each Class will start with a ‘Memorable Experience’ and end with an ‘Express’

Nursery Why do you love me so much? Why do leaves go crispy? Can I have a dog yet? Why can’t I have chocolate for breakfast? Are eggs alive? How many colours in a rainbow?
Reception Why is water wet? Why do spiders  eat flies? Where does snow go? Did dragons exist? Can we explore it? Am I the fastest?
Year 1 Superheroes Forest Crew. Memory Box Paws, Claws and Whiskers Moon Zoom Bright Lights.
Year 2 Muck, Mess and Mixtures Beachcombers Muck, Mess and Mixtures Towers. Tunnels and Turrets. The Scented Garden. Bounce
Year 3 Scrumdidlyumptious Gods and Mortals Heros and Villians. Predator. Forest Crew Flow
Year 4 Misty mountain Sierra. Potions. Blue Abyss 1066. I am a Warrior. Road Trip USA.
Year 5  Stargazers Alchemy Island Time Traveller Allotment Off with her head. Pharaohs.
