Headteacher’s Welcome

St. Joseph’s is a rich, diverse and vibrant Catholic Primary School serving the parishes of  St. Joseph’s and St. Augustine’s.  We are situated in the heart of Longsight and offer our children and families a school where they feel welcome, content and secure.

We strive to give all of our children the opportunities so that they will be able to ” live life to the full”. Through providing outstanding teaching, children in our care make outstanding progress both educationally and emotionally and leave equipped with the skills and knowledge to achieve excellence in their chosen pathways.

We value our families and the community we serve and encourage all to become involved in helping educate our children. We have an open door policy and welcome parents/carers suggestions, concerns or comments as to how we can improve.

St. Joseph’s has a team of dedicated staff who all contribute to making sure the children in their care achieve the best that they can be and they work tirelessly for the common good. We hope our website gives you a flavour of our beautiful school; however we would encourage you to visit to fully appreciate its uniqueness.

Best wishes

Mrs E Eccles

A huge thank you to everyone in our school community who have supported us at this very difficult time. We especially want to thank our parents who have fully supported us in our mission to stop the spread of Covid 19 so that we can all return to school as soon as possible. Rest assured you are all in our thoughts and prayers and we will see you all just as soon as we can.

Love and best wishes to you and your families.

Mrs Eccles and all the Staff
